This game is not about grammar, although it may teach you some things about botany. Follow the instructions to learn about the plants and start the game. Once the game has begun, use the left and right arrow keys to move. Collect good plants to increase your score. Rarer plants give more points. Don't touch the poisonous plants or you'll lose points, among other effects. Lose all your points and it's game over!
Congratulations! You found the secret text! There are many plants that can be collected throughout this game, both good ones and bad ones. Knowing the different types of plants will help you do better in the game.
American Marigold: This golden plant, sometimes appearing in orange or pale yellow, is the most common helpful plant and gives you one point.
Asian Paddy Straw Mushroom: This mushroom closely resembles a Death Cap, but it has less spots. It is very helpful and will multiply your points by one and one-third.
Black-Eyed Susan: This plant is rather common, but it is still very useful! When collected, a Black-Eyed Susan will give you one point and will also make you invincible for a short period of time!
Blue False Indigo: This harmful plant will give you nausea, causing the screen to spin, and will also take away one point.
Blue Sage: Blue Sage is another helpful plant, which can appear blue or in a light shade of lavender. It gives you two points.
Corn: The rarest and most helpful plant in the game, Corn will double your points! It has a wide range of possible colors, usually yellow but sometimes white, blue, or even red!
Death Cap: A deadly mushroom, this will make you explode and instantly get Game Over! It resembles an Asian Paddy Straw Mushroom, so be careful not to be fooled!
Japanese Blood Grass: This red grass is the most common harmful plant and will take away one point.
Lavender: A rare plant, Lavender will give you three points. It has a wide range of colors, but is usually just, well, lavender.
Parsley: Parsley is one of the rarest helpful plants in the game. It gives you five points and is therefore incredibly helpful.
Peyote Cactus: A very dangerous plant, it will take away two points, as well as make strange hallucinations appear on the screen!
Poison Hemlock: This incredibly harmful plant will take away five points.
Poison Ivy: This is a very large plant, so it is difficult to avoid. It will take away two points. It will also give you an allergic reaction, making you turn red and move slower!
Puffball Mushroom: This is the roundest mushroom in the game and is also the most common – almost as common as the American Marigold! It gives you one point and also makes a small puff effect and noise when collected.
Thistle: A harmful plant, Thistle will subtract two points from your score.
Venus Fly Trap: This plant will lunge for you and drag you downward, draining your points as it does so. If you hit the bottom of the screen, you will bounce back up to the middle again.
